Making a difference

by SimplyD on September 7, 2008

If you ever thought that one person couldn’t make a positive difference, take a moment to watch this video. It may start out a little slow, but stick with it. To watch this video is to know what I aspire to. My path may end up being different, but the end result is the same, making a difference. Anything is possible if you believe and perservere.

Know that this video is close to my heart as I grew up going to “forgotten” schools. This is a picture of my high school. The windows you see are not in the classrooms, the are only in the hallways. The school felt like a prison at times, and my escape at others.  Compare this to the video. You can make a difference in your own way.

That was an incredible video. It’s amazing what one man can achieve.
We need more people like him in this world.

Hi Michael,

The beauty is that Bill’s vision and passion for change is what kept him moving forward. He has the mindset I love that never looks at things as being impossible.

We’re all just a few steps or actions away from putting that kind of momentum into our own lives. His story is a perfect example of how taking one step at a time can lead to something so utterly amazing we couldn’t even begin to imagine it at the beginning of the journey.
